I played in the first tournament and I had a lot of fun! I couldn't believe how sore I was though...I mean I work out everyday and was expecting to be a lil sore, but not like that! Overall it was well worth it! There was food/BEER, great competition, funny lil guys in green, and a pretty awesome director of it all...I think his name was Greg Roman! I look forward to the one at the end of August as the Mama Milo's come back with a vengence!

Give me a call and we'll discuss options. You'll need parental consent forms, but I do not see any reason why not. Welcome aboard. Good luck!

We are still deciding. Doesn't look like October. We are thinking about $4k to 1st and 1K to 2nd or $3.5k and $1.5k. Still a lot of planning, more rules, more refs, more food, BEER, etc. Maybe an after party at the club. I'll keep everyone informed. Thanks, Greg

The way it is looking is that we are planning the $10k. Why wait and do a $5k, when we can do it right and put up $10k! What do we think, $8k to 1st and $2k to 2nd? Let me know everyone.

Definately go straight to the 10k tournament, more money, more teams, bigger event! Have tournament and an after party. Make it a one day event, don't try to spread it over 2 days. Also have guest appearance Ben Stiller hah

Aren't you afraid that going up to a $10K (or even a $5K) tournament will weed out the weaker competition, resulting in a smaller turnout? Even at the last tournament, $120 for a team was probably as high as I wanted to go. Would you get sponsors to put in so you could keep the entry fee moderately-priced; or are you expecting that people will put in more for a higher prize? Personally, I think that more than two-thirds of the teams at the previous tourney knew realistically they weren't going to win. And the "anything can happen" theory doesn't apply, since it's round robin and best of 5. There's no chance for a cinderella story.
Why am I still writing? Yikes.

We are working on sponsors for the event. We are thinking of $300 a team for the $10k tourny. That's $50 a person for unlimited food (Subway, Dominos, San Antonio Grill, home cooked ethnic food, etc.), beverages (bottled water, sport drinks, BEER!), prize money, a great work out, fun, etc. $50 a person is a great deal, in my opinion for unlimted food and drinks. We also plan on having an after party (with more food and drinks). We also plan on having massages and a chiropractor on call for the event as well. Membership deals for players and spectators. Food and drink specials at local bars.
And why and I still typing....
I need more suggestions!!! Thanks, Greg
